My Farwell

So my farewell was on sunday (I know, today is tuesday.... i'm a slacker) and it was amazing. I had to speak in both the singles and the home ward, which actually was kinda nice because I was able to tweak my talk accordingly. The musical number went a lot better than I thought it would. For the Singles Ward I played my clarinet, my best friend madison played her harp, katrina played her viola, and rachel played her cello. It was beautiful. For the Home ward I played the song with just Madison. I thought it was a lot simpler, and it sounded really really good.
Morgan was the youth speaker in my home ward, and it was really nice to hear her speak. of course she had to mention the fact that Hawaiians start their talks out with "Aloha brothers and sisters" so I felt obligated to do it.
After the Home Ward everyone went over to my house to eat the food we had been making for weeks! It was great! My mother makes the best food! Everything was perfect. Especially the Moose. A lot of great friends showed up, and I was glad to see them before I leave.

Sunday afternoon at the Slips!

So some might not consider it an appropriate Sunday activity, but rock climbing to me has become the ultimate chance to relax and focus. I always come away from a climb feeling better about myself, and more confident in my abilities. So I can't think of a better way to spend my sunday afternoons... (after church of course....) so Jason, Ammon and I went climbing on sunday and I had a blast. We went up big cottonwood canyon (because little cottonwood was closed) and hiked into the area known as "the slips." Here are some of the pictures!
